01Opening

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ.

Aʿūdhu billāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm.

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shayṭān.

02Supplication

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

03Supplication

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ. آمِينَ.

Al-ḥamdu lillāhi Rabbi l-ʿālamīn. Ar-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Māliki yawmi d-dīn. Iyyāka naʿbudu wa iyyāka nastaʿīn. Ihdina ṣ-ṣirāṭa l-mustaqīm. Ṣirāṭa lladhīna anʿamta ʿalayhim ghayri l-maghḍūbi ʿalayhim wa la ḍ-ḍāllīn. Āmīn.

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. It is You we worship and You we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favour, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray. Āmīn.

04Supplication

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ.

Aʿūdhu billāhi an akūna mina l-jāhilīn.

I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant.

05Supplication

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ.

Rabbanā taqabbal minnā innaka anta s-Samīʿu l-ʿAlīm, wa tub ʿalaynā innaka anta t-Tawwābu r-Raḥīm.

Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing. And accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.

06Supplication

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

Rabbanā ātinā fi d-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fi l-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā ʿadhāba n-nār.

Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

07Supplication

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ.

Rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa thabbit aqdāmanā wa nṣurnā ʿala l-qawmi l-kāfirīn.

Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.

08Supplication

سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ. رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ.

Samiʿnā wa aṭaʿnā ghufrānaka Rabbanā wa ilayka l-maṣīr. Rabbanā lā tuʾākhidhnā in nasīnā aw akhṭaʾnā. Rabbanā wa lā taḥmil ʿalaynā iṣran kamā ḥamaltahū ʿala lladhīna min qablinā. Rabbanā wa lā tuḥammilnā mā lā ṭāqata lanā bih, wa ʿfu ʿannā wa ghfir lanā wa rḥamnā. Anta Mawlānā fa nṣurnā ʿala l-qawmi l-kāfirīn.

We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination. Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.

09Supplication

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ. رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ.

Rabbanā lā tuzigh qulūbanā baʿda idh hadaytanā wa hab lanā min ladunka raḥmah, innaka anta l-Wahhāb. Rabbanā innaka jāmiʿu n-nāsi li-yawmin lā rayba fīh, inna Llāha lā yukhlifu l-mīʿād.

Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower. Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise.

10Supplication

رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

Rabbanā innanā āmannā fa ghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa qinā ʿadhāba n-nār.

Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

11Supplication

قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ.

Quli Llāhumma Mālika l-mulki tuʾti l-mulka man tashāʾu wa tanziʿu l-mulka mimman tashāʾ, wa tuʿizzu man tashāʾu wa tudhillu man tashāʾ, bi-yadika l-khayr, innaka ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr. Tūliju l-layla fi n-nahāri wa tūliju n-nahāra fi l-layl, wa tukhriju l-ḥayya mina l-mayyiti wa tukhriju l-mayyita mina l-ḥayy, wa tarzuqu man tashāʾu bi-ghayri ḥisāb.

Say, "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honour whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent. You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account."

12Supplication

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ.

Rabbi hab lī min ladunka dhurriyyatan ṭayyibah, innaka Samīʿu d-duʿāʾ.

My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.

13Supplication

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ.

Rabbanā āmannā bimā anzalta wa ttabaʿna r-rasūla fa ktubnā maʿa sh-shāhidīn.

Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger, so register us among the witnesses [to truth].

14Supplication

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ.

Rabbanā ghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa isrāfanā fī amrinā wa thabbit aqdāmanā wa nṣurnā ʿala l-qawmi l-kāfirīn.

Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.

15Supplication

رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ. رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ. رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ.

Rabbanā mā khalaqta hādhā bāṭilan subḥānaka fa qinā ʿadhāba n-nār. Rabbanā innaka man tudkhili n-nāra fa qad akhzaytah, wa mā li ẓ-ẓālimīna min anṣār. Rabbanā innanā samiʿnā munādiyan yunādī li l-īmāni an āminū bi Rabbikum fa āmannā. Rabbanā fa ghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa kaffir ʿannā sayyiʾātinā wa tawaffanā maʿa l-abrār. Rabbanā wa ātinā mā waʿadtanā ʿalā rusulika wa lā tukhzinā yawma l-qiyāmah, innaka lā tukhlifu l-mīʿād.

Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire. Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire, You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers. Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die among the righteous. Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise.

16Supplication

رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا.

Rabbanā akhrijnā min hādhihi l-qaryati ẓ-ẓālimi ahluhā wa jʿal lanā min ladunka waliyyan wa jʿal lanā min ladunka naṣīrā.

Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper.

17Supplication

رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِّنكَ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ.

Rabbanā anzil ʿalaynā māʾidatan mina s-samāʾi takūnu lanā ʿīdan li-awwalinā wa ākhirinā wa āyatan minka wa rzuqnā wa anta khayru r-rāziqīn.

Our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers.

18Supplication

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ. وَنَطْمَعُ أَن يُدْخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الصَّالِحِينَ.

Rabbanā āmannā fa ktubnā maʿa sh-shāhidīn. Wa naṭmaʿu an yudkhilanā Rabbunā maʿa l-qawmi ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses. And we aspire that our Lord will admit us [to Paradise] with the righteous people.

19Supplication

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ.

Rabbanā lā tajʿalnā maʿa l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīn.

Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.

20Supplication

أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ. وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَا إِلَيْكَ.

Anta waliyyunā fa ghfir lanā wa rḥamnā wa anta khayru l-ghāfirīn. Wa ktub lanā fī hādhihi d-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fi l-ākhirati innā hudnā ilayk.

You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy upon us; and You are the best of forgivers. And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You.

21Supplication

رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ.

Rabbanā innaka taʿlamu mā nukhfī wa mā nuʿlin, wa mā yakhfā ʿala Llāhi min shayʾin fi l-arḍi wa lā fi s-samāʾ.

Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven.

22Supplication

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ.

Rabbanā ẓalamnā anfusanā wa in lam taghfir lanā wa tarḥamnā la-nakūnanna mina l-khāsirīn.

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.

23Supplication

رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ.

Rabbanā ftaḥ baynanā wa bayna qawminā bi l-ḥaqqi wa anta khayru l-fātiḥīn.

Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision.

24Supplication

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ.

Rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa tawaffanā muslimīn.

Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You].

25Supplication

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Rabbi ghfir lī wa li-akhī wa adkhilnā fī raḥmatika wa anta arḥamu r-rāḥimīn.

My Lord, forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the most merciful of the merciful.

26Supplication

عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا. رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ.

ʿAla Llāhi tawakkalnā. Rabbanā lā tajʿalnā fitnatan li l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīn, wa najjinā bi-raḥmatika mina l-qawmi l-kāfirīn.

Upon Allah do we rely. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people. And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.

27Supplication

رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُن مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ.

Rabbi innī aʿūdhu bika an asʾalaka mā laysa lī bihī ʿilm, wa illā taghfir lī wa tarḥamnī akun mina l-khāsirīn.

My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.

28Supplication

فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ.

Fāṭira s-samāwāti wa l-arḍi anta waliyyī fi d-dunyā wa l-ākhirah, tawaffanī musliman wa alḥiqnī bi ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.

29Supplication

إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ. رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ. رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ.

Inna Rabbī la-Samīʿu d-duʿāʾ. Rabbi jʿalnī muqīma ṣ-ṣalāti wa min dhurriyyatī, Rabbanā wa taqabbal duʿāʾ. Rabbana ghfir lī wa li-wālidayya wa li l-muʾminīna yawma yaqūmu l-ḥisāb.

Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication. My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.

30Supplication

رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا.

Rabbi rḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīrā.

My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.

Reference: al-Isrāʾ 17:24

31Supplication

رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا.

Rabbi adkhilnī mudkhala ṣidqin wa akhrijnī mukhraja ṣidqin wa jʿal lī min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā.

My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.

32Supplication

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا.

Rabbanā ātinā min ladunka raḥmatan wa hayyiʾ lanā min amrinā rashadā.

Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.

33Supplication

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي.

Rabbi shraḥ lī ṣadrī wa yassir lī amrī.

My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] and ease for me my task.

34Supplication

رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا.

Rabbi zidnī ʿilmā.

My Lord, increase me in knowledge.

35Supplication

رَبِّ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Rabbi annī massaniya ḍ-ḍurru wa anta arḥamu r-rāḥimīn.

My Lord, indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the most merciful of the merciful.

36Supplication

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ.

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina ẓ-ẓālimīn.

There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.

37Supplication

رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ.

Rabbi lā tadharnī fardan wa anta khayru l-wārithīn.

My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while You are the best of inheritors.

38Supplication

رَبِّ احْكُم بِالْحَقِّ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحْمَٰنُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ.

Rabbi ḥkum bi l-ḥaqq, wa Rabbuna r-Raḥmānu l-mustaʿānu ʿalā mā taṣifūn.

My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe.

39Supplication

رَّبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ.

Rabbi anzilnī munzalan mubārakan wa anta khayru l-munzilīn.

My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].

40Supplication

رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي فِي الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ.

Rabbi fa lā tajʿalnī fi l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīn.

My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people.

41Supplication

رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ.

Rabbi aʿūdhu bika min hamazāti sh-shayāṭīn, wa aʿūdhu bika Rabbi an yaḥḍurūn.

My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me.

42Supplication

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Rabbanā āmannā fa ghfir lanā wa rḥamnā wa anta khayru r-rāḥimīn.

Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.

43Supplication

رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Rabbi ghfir wa rḥam wa anta khayru r-rāḥimīn.

My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful.

44Supplication

رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا إِنَّهَا سَاءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا.

Rabbanā ṣrif ʿannā ʿadhāba jahannam, inna ʿadhābahā kāna gharāmā. Innahā sāʾat mustaqarran wa muqāmā.

Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering; indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence.

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا.

Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā wa dhurriyyātinā qurrata aʿyunin wa jʿalnā li l-muttaqīna imāmā.

Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us a leader for the righteous.

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ وَاجْعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ وَاغْفِرْ لِأَبِي إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ وَلَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ.

Rabbi hab lī ḥukman wa alḥiqnī bi ṣ-ṣāliḥīn, wa jʿal lī lisāna ṣidqin fi l-ākhirīn, wa jʿalnī min warathati jannati n-naʿīm, wa ghfir li-abī innahū kāna mina ḍ-ḍāllīn, wa lā tukhzinī yawma yubʿathūn, yawma lā yanfaʿu mālun wa lā banūn, illā man ata Llāha bi-qalbin salīm.

My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous. And grant me a mention of honour among later generations. And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray. And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected, the Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children, but only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.

رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ.

Rabbi najjinī wa ahlī mimmā yaʿmalūn.

My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do.

48Supplication

رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي كَذَّبُونِ فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.

Rabbi inna qawmī kadhdhabūn, fa ftaḥ baynī wa baynahum fatḥan wa najjinī wa man maʿiya mina l-muʾminīn.

My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers.

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ.

Rabbi awziʿnī an ashkura niʿmataka llatī anʿamta ʿalayya wa ʿalā wālidayya wa an aʿmala ṣāliḥan tarḍāhu wa adkhilnī bi-raḥmatika fī ʿibādika ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.

رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي.

Rabbi innī ẓalamtu nafsī fa ghfir lī.

My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me.

رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ.

Rabbi najjinī mina l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīn.

My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people.

52Supplication

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ.

Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr.

My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.

رَبِّ انصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ.

Rabbi nṣurnī ʿala l-qawmi l-mufsidīn.

My Lord, support me against the corrupting people.

54Supplication

فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَيُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَكَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ.

Fa subḥāna Llāhi ḥīna tumsūna wa ḥīna tuṣbiḥūn. Wa lahu l-ḥamdu fi s-samāwāti wa l-arḍi wa ʿashiyyan wa ḥīna tuẓhirūn. Yukhriju l-ḥayya mina l-mayyiti wa yukhriju l-mayyita mina l-ḥayyi wa yuḥyi l-arḍa baʿda mawtihā wa kadhālika tukhrajūn.

So exalted is Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning. And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out.

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ.

Rabbi hab lī mina ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous.

قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ أَنتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِي مَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ.

Quli Llāhumma fāṭira s-samāwāti wa l-arḍi ʿālima l-ghaybi wa sh-shahādati anta taḥkumu bayna ʿibādika fīmā kānū fīhi yakhtalifūn.

Say, "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You will judge between your servants concerning that over which they used to differ."

57Supplication

رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ. رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ. وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَن تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ.

Rabbanā wasiʿta kulla shayʾin raḥmatan wa ʿilman fa ghfir li lladhīna tābū wa ttabaʿū sabīlaka wa qihim ʿadhāba l-jaḥīm. Rabbanā wa adkhilhum jannāti ʿadnin illatī waʿadtahum wa man ṣalaḥa min ābāʾihim wa azwājihim wa dhurriyyātihim, innaka anta l-ʿAzīzu l-Ḥakīm. Wa qihimu s-sayyiʾāt, wa man taqi s-sayyiʾāti yawmaʾidhin fa qad raḥimtah, wa dhālika huwa l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīm.

Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire. Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their forefathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day, You will have given him mercy. And that is the great attainment.

58Supplication

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.

Rabbi awziʿnī an ashkura niʿmataka llatī anʿamta ʿalayya wa ʿalā wālidayya wa an aʿmala ṣāliḥan tarḍāhu wa aṣliḥ lī fī dhurriyyatī, innī tubtu ilayka wa innī mina l-muslimīn.

My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.

59Supplication

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ.

Rabbana ghfir lanā wa li-ikhwānina lladhīna sabaqūnā bi l-īmāni wa lā tajʿal fī qulūbinā ghillan li lladhīna āmanū, Rabbanā innaka Raʾūfun Raḥīm.

Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.

60Supplication

رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ. رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ.

Rabbanā ʿalayka tawakkalnā wa ilayka anabnā wa ilayka l-maṣīr. Rabbanā lā tajʿalnā fitnatan li lladhīna kafarū wa ghfir lanā Rabbanā, innaka anta l-ʿAzīzu l-Ḥakīm.

Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] torment for the disbelievers and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

61Supplication

رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.

Rabbanā atmim lanā nūranā wa ghfir lanā, innaka ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.

Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent.

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ.

Rabbi ghfir lī wa li-wālidayya wa li-man dakhala baytiya muʾminan wa li l-muʾminīna wa l-muʾmināt.

My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women.

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ.

Qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi l-falaq. Min sharri mā khalaq. Wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab. Wa min sharri n-naffāthāti fi l-ʿuqad. Wa min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad.

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of that which He created, and from the evil of darkness when it settles, and from the evil of the blowers in knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies."

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ.

Qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi n-nās. Maliki n-nās. Ilāhi n-nās. Min sharri l-waswāsi l-khannās. Alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūri n-nās. Mina l-jinnati wa n-nās.

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind."

65Supplication

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَامٌ وَآخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

Subḥānaka Llāhumma wa taḥiyyatuhum fīhā salām, wa ākhiru daʿwāhum ani l-ḥamdu lillāhi Rabbi l-ʿālamīn.

"Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds!"

قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ: وَلِلَّهِ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا.

Qāla Llāhu taʿālā: Wa lillāhi l-asmāʾu l-ḥusnā fa dʿūhu bihā.

Allah the Exalted has said: "And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them."

67Supplication

وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ اسْمًا، مَنْ أَحْصَاهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: مَنْ حَفِظَهَا.

Wa qāla n-Nabiyyu ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam: Inna lillāhi taʿālā tisʿatan wa tisʿīna sman, man aḥṣāhā dakhala l-jannah. Wa fī riwāyah: man ḥafiẓahā.

And the Prophet ﷺ said: "Allah the Exalted has ninety-nine names; whoever enumerates them will enter Paradise." In another narration: "whoever memorises them."

68Supplication

وَاسْمُ اللَّهِ الْأَعْظَمُ الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ وَإِذَا سُئِلَ بِهِ أَعْطَى: لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ.

Wa smu Llāhi l-aʿẓamu lladhī idhā duʿiya bihī ajāba wa idhā suʾila bihī aʿṭā: Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina ẓ-ẓālimīn.

And the greatest name of Allah, by which He answers when He is called upon and gives when He is asked: "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."

69Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka bi-annī ashhadu annaka anta Llāhu lā ilāha illā anta l-Aḥadu ṣ-Ṣamadu lladhī lam yalid wa lam yūlad wa lam yakun lahū kufuwan aḥad.

O Allah, I ask You by my bearing witness that You are Allah, there is no deity except You, the One, the Eternal Refuge, who neither begets nor is born, and to whom there is no equal.

70Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدَ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، الْحَنَّانُ الْمَنَّانُ، بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ، يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka bi-anna laka l-ḥamd, lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, al-Ḥannānu l-Mannān, badīʿu s-samāwāti wa l-arḍ, yā Dha l-jalāli wa l-ikrām, yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūm.

O Allah, I ask You by the fact that all praise is Yours; there is no deity except You alone, without partner, the Ever-Kind, the Bestower of favours, the Originator of the heavens and the earth. O Lord of majesty and honour, O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining.

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Yā arḥama r-rāḥimīn.

O Most Merciful of the merciful.

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَلِيِّ الْأَعْلَى الْوَهَّابِ.

Subḥāna Rabbiya l-ʿAliyyi l-Aʿla l-Wahhāb.

Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, the Highest, the Bestower.

73Supplication

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ.

Aʿūdhu bi-kalimāti Llāhi t-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

74Supplication

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ.

Bismi Llāhi lladhī lā yaḍurru maʿa smihī shayʾun fi l-arḍi wa lā fi s-samāʾi wa huwa s-Samīʿu l-ʿAlīm.

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

75Supplication

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ. رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ.

Aṣbaḥnā wa aṣbaḥa l-mulku lillāh, wa l-ḥamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illa Llāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahu l-mulku wa lahu l-ḥamdu wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr. Rabbi asʾaluka khayra mā fī hādha l-yawmi wa khayra mā baʿdah, wa aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā fī hādha l-yawmi wa sharri mā baʿdah. Rabbi aʿūdhu bika mina l-kasali wa sūʾi l-kibar, Rabbi aʿūdhu bika min ʿadhābin fi n-nāri wa ʿadhābin fi l-qabr.

We have entered the morning, and all sovereignty this morning belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah. There is no deity except Allah alone, without partner; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the misery of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from punishment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.

76Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِي سُوءًا أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَىٰ مُسْلِمٍ.

Allāhumma fāṭira s-samāwāti wa l-arḍ, ʿālima l-ghaybi wa sh-shahādah, Rabba kulli shayʾin wa malīkah, ashhadu an lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, aʿūdhu bika min sharri nafsī wa min sharri sh-shayṭāni wa shirkih, wa an aqtarifa ʿalā nafsī sūʾan aw ajurrahū ilā muslim.

O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that there is no deity except You alone, without partner. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self, from the evil of Shayṭān and his call to associate partners with You, and from bringing harm upon myself or bringing it upon another Muslim.

77Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ.

Allāhumma innī aṣbaḥtu ushhiduka wa ushhidu ḥamalata ʿarshika wa malāʾikataka wa jamīʿa khalqika annaka anta Llāhu lā ilāha illā anta wa anna Muḥammadan ʿabduka wa rasūluk.

O Allah, I have entered the morning calling You to witness, and calling to witness the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels and all Your creation, that You are Allah, there is no deity except You, and that Muḥammad ﷺ is Your servant and Your messenger.

78Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي. اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي. اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka l-ʿāfiyata fi d-dunyā wa l-ākhirah. Allāhumma innī asʾaluka l-ʿafwa wa l-ʿāfiyata fī dīnī wa dunyāya wa ahlī wa mālī. Allāhumma stur ʿawrātī wa āmin rawʿātī. Allāhumma ḥfaẓnī min bayni yadayya wa min khalfī wa ʿan yamīnī wa ʿan shimālī wa min fawqī, wa aʿūdhu bi-ʿaẓamatika an ughtāla min taḥtī.

O Allah, I ask You for wellbeing in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and wellbeing in my religion, my worldly life, my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from in front of me and from behind me, from my right and from my left and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being struck down from beneath me.

79Supplication

رَضِينَا بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَسُولًا وَنَبِيًّا.

Raḍīnā billāhi Rabban wa bi l-islāmi dīnan wa bi-Muḥammadin ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama rasūlan wa nabiyyā.

We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, with Islam as our religion, and with Muḥammad ﷺ as our messenger and prophet.

80Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ.

Allāhumma mā aṣbaḥa bī min niʿmatin aw bi-aḥadin min khalqika fa minka waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, fa laka l-ḥamdu wa laka sh-shukr.

O Allah, whatever blessing I or any of Your creation have received this morning is from You alone, without partner; so to You belongs all praise and to You belongs all thanks.

81Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ (ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ). اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ (ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ).

Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī badanī, Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī samʿī, Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī baṣarī, lā ilāha illā ant (three times). Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina l-kufri wa l-faqr, Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ʿadhābi l-qabr, lā ilāha illā ant (three times).

O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my body; O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my hearing; O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my sight; there is no deity except You (three times). O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty; O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave; there is no deity except You (three times).

82Supplication

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ وَمَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ، أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا.

Subḥāna Llāhi wa bi-ḥamdih, lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh, mā shāʾa Llāhu kāna wa mā lam yashaʾ lam yakun, aʿlamu anna Llāha ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr, wa anna Llāha qad aḥāṭa bi-kulli shayʾin ʿilmā.

Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him. There is no power and no strength except through Allah. Whatever Allah wills comes to be, and whatever He does not will does not come to be. I know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.

83Supplication

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَىٰ نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ.

Yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūmu bi-raḥmatika astaghīth, aṣliḥ lī shaʾnī kullahū wa lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ʿayn.

O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help. Set right all my affairs and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye.

84Supplication

سَيِّدُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

Sayyidu l-istighfār: Allāhumma anta Rabbī lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa ana ʿabduk, wa ana ʿalā ʿahdika wa waʿdika ma staṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayya wa abūʾu bi-dhanbī, fa ghfir lī fa innahū lā yaghfiru dh-dhunūba illā ant.

The master prayer for forgiveness: O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I keep to Your covenant and Your promise as far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessing upon me and I confess my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

85Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ أَحَقُّ مَنْ ذُكِرَ، وَأَحَقُّ مَنْ عُبِدَ، وَأَنْصَرُ مَنِ ابْتُغِيَ، وَأَرْأَفُ مَنْ مَلَكَ، وَأَجْوَدُ مَنْ سُئِلَ، وَأَوْسَعُ مَنْ أَعْطَى. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَالْفَرْدُ لَا نِدَّ لَكَ، كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَكَ، لَنْ تُطَاعَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِكَ، وَلَنْ تُعْصَى إِلَّا بِعِلْمِكَ، تُطَاعُ فَتَشْكُرُ، وَتُعْصَى فَتَغْفِرُ، أَقْرَبُ شَهِيدٍ وَأَدْنَى حَفِيظٍ، حُلْتَ دُونَ النُّفُوسِ، وَأَخَذْتَ بِالنَّوَاصِي، وَكَتَبْتَ الْآثَارَ، وَنَسَخْتَ الْآجَالَ. الْقُلُوبُ لَكَ مُفْضِيَةٌ، وَالسِّرُّ عِنْدَكَ عَلَانِيَةٌ، الْحَلَالُ مَا أَحْلَلْتَ، وَالْحَرَامُ مَا حَرَّمْتَ، وَالدِّينُ مَا شَرَعْتَ، وَالْأَمْرُ مَا قَضَيْتَ، الْخَلْقُ خَلْقُكَ، وَالْعَبْدُ عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنْتَ اللَّهُ الرَّءُوفُ الرَّحِيمُ. أَسْأَلُكَ بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الَّذِي أَشْرَقَتْ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ، وَبِكُلِّ حَقٍّ هُوَ لَكَ، وَبِحَقِّ السَّائِلِينَ عَلَيْكَ، أَنْ تُقِيلَنِي فِي هَٰذِهِ الْغَدَاةِ وَفِي هَٰذِهِ الْعَشِيَّةِ، وَأَنْ تُجِيرَنِي مِنَ النَّارِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ.

Allāhumma anta aḥaqqu man dhukir, wa aḥaqqu man ʿubid, wa anṣaru mani btughiy, wa arʾafu man malak, wa ajwadu man suʾil, wa awsaʿu man aʿṭā. Allāhumma anta l-Maliku lā sharīka lak, wa l-Fardu lā nidda lak, kullu shayʾin hālikun illā wajhak, lan tuṭāʿa illā bi-idhnik, wa lan tuʿṣā illā bi-ʿilmik, tuṭāʿu fa tashkur, wa tuʿṣā fa taghfir, aqrabu shahīdin wa adnā ḥafīẓ, ḥulta dūna n-nufūs, wa akhadhta bi n-nawāṣī, wa katabta l-āthār, wa nasakhta l-ājāl. Al-qulūbu laka mufḍiyah, wa s-sirru ʿindaka ʿalāniyah, al-ḥalālu mā aḥlalt, wa l-ḥarāmu mā ḥarramt, wa d-dīnu mā sharaʿt, wa l-amru mā qaḍayt, al-khalqu khalquk, wa l-ʿabdu ʿabduk, wa anta Llāhu r-Raʾūfu r-Raḥīm. Asʾaluka bi-nūri wajhika lladhī ashraqat lahu s-samāwātu wa l-arḍ, wa bi-kulli ḥaqqin huwa lak, wa bi-ḥaqqi s-sāʾilīna ʿalayk, an tuqīlanī fī hādhihi l-ghadāti wa fī hādhihi l-ʿashiyyah, wa an tujīranī mina n-nāri bi-qudratik.

O Allah, You are the most deserving of all who are remembered, the most deserving of all who are worshipped, the greatest helper of all whose help is sought, the most compassionate of all who hold dominion, the most generous of all who are asked, and the most bountiful of all who give. O Allah, You are the King without partner, the One without equal. Everything perishes except Your Countenance. You are never obeyed except by Your leave, and never disobeyed except within Your knowledge. You are obeyed and You reward; You are disobeyed and You forgive. You are the nearest witness and the closest guardian. You stand between souls and their desires; You hold every forelock; You have recorded every deed and fixed every lifespan. Hearts lie open before You, and what is secret is plain to You. The lawful is what You have made lawful, the unlawful is what You have forbidden, religion is what You have laid down, and the command is what You have decreed. The creation is Your creation and the servant is Your servant, and You are Allah, the Most Kind, the Most Merciful. I ask You by the light of Your Countenance, by which the heavens and the earth are lit, by every right that is Yours, and by the right of those who ask of You, that You accept my plea this morning and this evening, and that You shelter me from the Fire by Your power.

86Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحُزْنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina l-hammi wa l-ḥuzn, wa aʿūdhu bika mina l-ʿajzi wa l-kasal, wa aʿūdhu bika mina l-jubni wa l-bukhl, wa aʿūdhu bika min ghalabati d-dayni wa qahri r-rijāl.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men.

87Supplication

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ، وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ وَمِنْكَ وَإِلَيْكَ. اللَّهُمَّ مَا قُلْتُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ حَلَفْتُ مِنْ حَلْفٍ أَوْ نَذَرْتُ مِنْ نَذْرٍ فَمَشِيئَتُكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ ذَٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ، مَا شِئْتَ كَانَ وَمَا لَمْ تَشَأْ لَا يَكُونُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ، إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. اللَّهُمَّ مَا صَلَّيْتُ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ فَعَلَىٰ مَنْ صَلَّيْتَ، وَمَا لَعَنْتُ مِنْ لَعْنٍ فَعَلَىٰ مَنْ لَعَنْتَ، أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الرِّضَاءَ بَعْدَ الْقَضَاءِ، وَبَرْدَ الْعَيْشِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَلَذَّةَ النَّظَرِ إِلَىٰ وَجْهِكَ، وَشَوْقًا إِلَىٰ لِقَائِكَ فِي غَيْرِ ضَرَّاءَ مُضِرَّةٍ وَلَا فِتْنَةٍ مُضِلَّةٍ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ، أَوْ أَعْتَدِيَ أَوْ يُعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيَّ، أَوْ أَكْسِبَ خَطِيئَةً أَوْ ذَنْبًا لَا تَغْفِرُهُ. اللَّهُمَّ زَيِّنَّا بِزِينَةِ الْإِيمَانِ وَاجْعَلْنَا هُدَاةً مُهْتَدِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ، فَإِنِّي أَعْهَدُ إِلَيْكَ فِي هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَأُشْهِدُكَ، وَكَفَىٰ بِكَ شَهِيدًا، أَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، لَكَ الْمُلْكُ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ وَعْدَكَ حَقٌّ وَلِقَاءَكَ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّكَ تَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ، وَأَنَّكَ إِنْ تَكِلْنِي إِلَىٰ نَفْسِي تَكِلْنِي إِلَىٰ ضَعْفٍ وَعَوْرَةٍ وَذَنْبٍ وَخَطِيئَةٍ، وَأَنِّي لَا أَثِقُ إِلَّا بِرَحْمَتِكَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي كُلَّهَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ.

Labbayka Llāhumma labbayka wa saʿdayk, wa l-khayru fī yadayka wa minka wa ilayk. Allāhumma mā qultu min qawlin aw ḥalaftu min ḥalfin aw nadhartu min nadhrin fa mashīʾatuka bayna yaday dhālika kullih, mā shiʾta kāna wa mā lam tashaʾ lā yakūn, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bik, innaka ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr. Allāhumma mā ṣallaytu min ṣalātin fa ʿalā man ṣallayt, wa mā laʿantu min laʿnin fa ʿalā man laʿant, anta waliyyī fi d-dunyā wa l-ākhirah, tawaffanī musliman wa alḥiqnī bi ṣ-ṣāliḥīn. Allāhumma innī asʾaluka r-riḍāʾa baʿda l-qaḍāʾ, wa barda l-ʿayshi baʿda l-mawt, wa ladhdhata n-naẓari ilā wajhik, wa shawqan ilā liqāʾika fī ghayri ḍarrāʾa muḍirratin wa lā fitnatin muḍillah, wa aʿūdhu bika an aẓlima aw uẓlam, aw aʿtadiya aw yuʿtadā ʿalayy, aw aksiba khaṭīʾatan aw dhanban lā taghfiruh. Allāhumma zayyinnā bi-zīnati l-īmāni wa jʿalnā hudātan muhtadīn. Allāhumma fāṭira s-samāwāti wa l-arḍ, ʿālima l-ghaybi wa sh-shahādah, Dha l-jalāli wa l-ikrām, fa innī aʿhadu ilayka fī hādhihi l-ḥayāti d-dunyā wa ushhiduk, wa kafā bika shahīdā, annī ashhadu an lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, laka l-mulku wa laka l-ḥamdu wa anta ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama ʿabduka wa rasūluk, wa ashhadu anna waʿdaka ḥaqqun wa liqāʾaka ḥaqqun wa s-sāʿata ātiyatun lā rayba fīhā wa annaka tabʿathu man fi l-qubūr, wa annaka in takilnī ilā nafsī takilnī ilā ḍaʿfin wa ʿawratin wa dhanbin wa khaṭīʾah, wa annī lā athiqu illā bi-raḥmatik, fa ghfir lī dhunūbī kullahā innahū lā yaghfiru dh-dhunūba illā ant, wa tub ʿalayya innaka anta t-Tawwābu r-Raḥīm.

Here I am, O Allah, here I am at Your service, and all good is in Your hands, from You and to You. O Allah, whatever word I have said, whatever oath I have sworn, or whatever vow I have made, Your will comes before all of it: what You will comes to be, and what You do not will does not come to be. There is no power and no strength except through You; indeed, You have power over all things. O Allah, whatever blessing I have invoked, let it fall upon whomever You have blessed; and whatever curse I have uttered, let it fall upon whomever You have cursed. You are my Protector in this world and the Hereafter; cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous. O Allah, I ask You for contentment after the decree, a life of ease after death, the delight of gazing upon Your Countenance, and a longing to meet You without harmful distress or misleading trial. I seek refuge in You from wronging or being wronged, from transgressing or being transgressed against, and from earning a fault or a sin that You would not forgive. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith and make us guides who are rightly guided. O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord of majesty and honour, I make a pledge to You in this worldly life and I call You to witness, and You suffice as a witness, that I bear witness that there is no deity except You alone, without partner; Yours is the sovereignty and Yours is the praise, and You have power over all things. I bear witness that Muḥammad ﷺ is Your servant and Your messenger, and I bear witness that Your promise is true, that meeting You is true, that the Hour is coming without any doubt, and that You will resurrect those in the graves. If You leave me to myself, You leave me to weakness, exposure, sin and fault, and I place no trust in anything but Your mercy. So forgive me all my sins, for none forgives sins except You, and accept my repentance; indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.

88Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ صِحَّةً فِي إِيمَانٍ، وَإِيمَانًا فِي حُسْنِ خُلُقٍ، وَنَجَاةً يَتْبَعُهَا فَلَاحٌ، وَرَحْمَةً مِنْكَ وَعَافِيَةً، وَمَغْفِرَةً مِنْكَ وَرِضْوَانًا.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka ṣiḥḥatan fī īmān, wa īmānan fī ḥusni khuluq, wa najātan yatbaʿuhā falāḥ, wa raḥmatan minka wa ʿāfiyah, wa maghfiratan minka wa riḍwānā.

O Allah, I ask You for soundness in faith, faith joined with good character, salvation followed by success, mercy and wellbeing from You, and forgiveness from You and Your good pleasure.

89Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَبِكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ تَكْشِفُ الْمَغْرَمَ وَالْمَأْثَمَ. اللَّهُمَّ لَا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ وَلَا يُخْلَفُ وَعْدُكَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ، سُبْحَانَكَ وَبِحَمْدِكَ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bi-wajhika l-karīmi wa bi-kalimātika t-tāmmati min sharri mā anta ākhidhun bi-nāṣiyatih. Allāhumma anta takshifu l-maghrama wa l-maʾtham. Allāhumma lā yuhzamu junduka wa lā yukhlafu waʿduka wa lā yanfaʿu dha l-jaddi minka l-jadd, subḥānaka wa bi-ḥamdik.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your Noble Countenance and in Your perfect words from the evil of everything whose forelock You hold. O Allah, You alone remove debt and sin. O Allah, Your army is never defeated, Your promise is never broken, and the wealth of the wealthy avails nothing against You. Glory be to You and praise be to You.

90Supplication

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ سُبْحَانَكَ. اللَّهُمَّ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذَنْبِي وَأَسْأَلُكَ رَحْمَتَكَ. اللَّهُمَّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا وَلَا تُزِغْ قَلْبِي بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنِي، وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ.

Lā ilāha illā anta lā sharīka laka subḥānak. Allāhumma astaghfiruka li-dhanbī wa asʾaluka raḥmatak. Allāhumma zidnī ʿilman wa lā tuzigh qalbī baʿda idh hadaytanī, wa hab lī min ladunka raḥmatan innaka anta l-Wahhāb.

There is no deity except You, without partner; glory be to You. O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for my sin and I ask You for Your mercy. O Allah, increase me in knowledge and do not let my heart deviate after You have guided me, and grant me mercy from Yourself; indeed, You are the Bestower.

91Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي.

Allāhumma ghfir lī dhanbī wa wassiʿ lī fī dārī wa bārik lī fī rizqī.

O Allah, forgive my sin, make my home spacious for me, and bless me in my provision.

92Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ.

Allāhumma jʿalnī mina t-tawwābīna wa jʿalnī mina l-mutaṭahhirīn.

O Allah, make me among those who constantly repent and make me among those who purify themselves.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبَّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، رَبَّنَا وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، فَالِقَ الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوَى، وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ وَالْفُرْقَانِ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْأَوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الْآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فَوْقَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الْبَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دُونَكَ شَيْءٌ، اقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ وَأَغْنِنَا مِنَ الْفَقْرِ.

Allāhumma Rabba s-samāwāti wa Rabba l-arḍi wa Rabba l-ʿarshi l-ʿaẓīm, Rabbanā wa Rabba kulli shayʾ, fāliqa l-ḥabbi wa n-nawā, wa munzila t-Tawrāti wa l-Injīli wa l-Furqān, aʿūdhu bika min sharri kulli shayʾin anta ākhidhun bi-nāṣiyatih. Allāhumma anta l-Awwalu fa laysa qablaka shayʾ, wa anta l-Ākhiru fa laysa baʿdaka shayʾ, wa anta ẓ-Ẓāhiru fa laysa fawqaka shayʾ, wa anta l-Bāṭinu fa laysa dūnaka shayʾ, iqḍi ʿanna d-dayna wa aghninā mina l-faqr.

O Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the Mighty Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, Splitter of the seed and the kernel, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel and the Criterion, I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock You hold. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Manifest, so there is nothing above You; You are the Hidden, so there is nothing beyond You. Settle our debts for us and enrich us out of poverty.

94Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَمَا أَظَلَّتْ، وَرَبَّ الْأَرَضِينَ وَمَا أَقَلَّتْ، وَرَبَّ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَمَا أَضَلَّتْ، كُنْ لِي جَارًا مِنْ شَرِّ خَلْقِكَ أَجْمَعِينَ، أَنْ يَفْرُطَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ أَنْ يَطْغَى، عَزَّ جَارُكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ.

Allāhumma Rabba s-samāwāti s-sabʿi wa mā aẓallat, wa Rabba l-araḍīna wa mā aqallat, wa Rabba sh-shayāṭīni wa mā aḍallat, kun lī jāran min sharri khalqika ajmaʿīn, an yafruṭa ʿalayya aḥadun minhum aw an yaṭghā, ʿazza jāruka wa tabāraka smuk.

O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all they shade, Lord of the earths and all they bear, and Lord of the devils and all they lead astray, be my protector against the evil of all Your creation, lest any of them should act rashly against me or transgress against me. Mighty is the one under Your protection, and blessed is Your name.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ مَلِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ. اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، وَأَنْتَ رَبُّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَفْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ.

Allāhumma laka l-ḥamdu anta qayyimu s-samāwāti wa l-arḍi wa man fīhinn, wa laka l-ḥamdu anta maliku s-samāwāti wa l-arḍi wa man fīhinn, wa laka l-ḥamdu anta nūru s-samāwāti wa l-arḍi wa man fīhinn, wa laka l-ḥamdu anta l-Ḥaqq, wa waʿduka l-ḥaqq, wa liqāʾuka ḥaqq, wa qawluka ḥaqq, wa l-jannatu ḥaqq, wa n-nāru ḥaqq, wa n-nabiyyūna ḥaqq, wa Muḥammadun ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama rasūlu Llāhi ḥaqq, wa s-sāʿatu ḥaqq. Allāhumma laka aslamtu wa bika āmantu wa ʿalayka tawakkaltu wa ilayka anabtu wa bika khāṣamtu wa ilayka ḥākamt, wa anta Rabbunā wa ilayka l-maṣīr, fa ghfir lī mā qaddamtu wa mā akhkhartu wa mā asrartu wa mā aʿlantu wa mā asraftu wa mā anta aʿlamu bihī minnī, anta l-Muqaddimu wa anta l-Muʾakhkhir, lā ilāha illā ant, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh.

O Allah, to You belongs all praise; You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all who are in them. To You belongs all praise; You are the King of the heavens and the earth and all who are in them. To You belongs all praise; You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all who are in them. To You belongs all praise; You are the Truth, Your promise is the truth, meeting You is true, Your word is true, Paradise is true, the Fire is true, the prophets are true, Muḥammad ﷺ the Messenger of Allah is true, and the Hour is true. O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned, by You I have contended, and to You I have brought judgement. You are our Lord and to You is the return. So forgive me what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have made known, and what I have done to excess, and what You know better than I. You are the One who brings forward and the One who holds back; there is no deity except You, and there is no power and no strength except through Allah.

96Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي وَاجْبُرْنِي وَارْفَعْنِي.

Allāhumma ghfir lī wa rḥamnī wa ʿāfinī wa hdinī wa rzuqnī wa jburnī wa rfaʿnī.

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me wellbeing, guide me, provide for me, mend my affairs, and raise me.

97Supplication

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ.

Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr.

My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.

98Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ، فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، أَنْتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ، اهْدِنِي لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِكَ، إِنَّكَ تَهْدِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ.

Allāhumma Rabba Jibrīla wa Mīkāʾīla wa Isrāfīl, fāṭira s-samāwāti wa l-arḍ, ʿālima l-ghaybi wa sh-shahādah, anta taḥkumu bayna ʿibādika fīmā kānū fīhi yakhtalifūn, ihdinī li-ma khtulifa fīhi mina l-ḥaqqi bi-idhnik, innaka tahdī man tashāʾu ilā ṣirāṭin mustaqīm.

O Allah, Lord of Jibrīl, Mīkāʾīl and Isrāfīl, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You judge between Your servants concerning that over which they used to differ. Guide me, by Your leave, to the truth in that over which they have differed; indeed, You guide whom You will to a straight path.
