Privacy notice

Daily Wird asks for an email address in one place only: when you ask for a copy of a book to download. This page says what happens to it.

Who is responsible

Daily Wird is a project of As-Subah Trust, Registered Charity No. 1180159 (England & Wales). The Trust is the data controller for any address given here. You can reach us at info@assubah.com.

What is collected, and why

Your email address, and a note of which download you asked for. It is used to send you that copy, and to tell you when a new book is published. It is not used for anything else, it is not sold, and it is not passed to another organisation or added to any other mailing list.

Your consent, and stopping it

The form does not submit without your consent, and consent is the lawful basis for holding the address. Every email carries a link to unsubscribe, which takes effect immediately. You can also write to the address above and ask us to delete your details, and we will.

The reading itself

Reading on this site needs no account and no address. Your reading settings, such as text size and which translations you have turned on, are stored in your own browser and are never sent anywhere.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Ask us first and we will try to put it right.
