01Opening

اللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنَ النِّفَاقِ وَعَمَلِي مِنَ الرِّيَاءِ وَلِسَانِي مِنَ الْكِذْبِ وَعَيْنِي مِنَ الْخِيَانَةِ فَإِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ.

Allāhumma ṭahhir qalbī mina n-nifāq, wa ʿamalī mina r-riyāʾ, wa lisānī mina l-kidhb, wa ʿaynī mina l-khiyānah, fa innaka taʿlamu khāʾinata l-aʿyuni wa mā tukhfi ṣ-ṣudūr.

O Allah, purify my heart of hypocrisy, my deeds of showing off, my tongue of lying and my eye of treachery, for You know the treachery of the eyes and what the breasts conceal.

02Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي عَيْنَيْنِ هَطَّالَتَيْنِ تَسْقِيَانِ الْقَلْبَ بِذُرُوفِ الدَّمْعِ مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَكُونَ الدُّمُوعُ دَمًا وَالْأَضْرَاسُ جَمْرًا.

Allāhumma rzuqnī ʿaynayni haṭṭālatayni tasqiyāni l-qalba bi-dhurūfi d-damʿi min khashyatik, qabla an takūna d-dumūʿu damā, wa l-aḍrāsu jamrā.

O Allah, grant me two eyes that pour freely, watering the heart with flowing tears out of fear of You, before the tears become blood and the teeth become embers.

03Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي قُدْرَتِكَ وَأَدْخِلْنِي فِي رَحْمَتِكَ وَاقْضِ أَجَلِي فِي طَاعَتِكَ وَاخْتِمْ لِي بِخَيْرِ عَمَلِي وَاجْعَلْ ثَوَابَهُ الْجَنَّةَ.

Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī qudratik, wa adkhilnī fī raḥmatik, wa qḍi ajalī fī ṭāʿatik, wa khtim lī bi-khayri ʿamalī, wa jʿal thawābahu l-jannah.

O Allah, keep me well within Your power, admit me into Your mercy, let my term be spent in obedience to You, seal my life with the best of my deeds, and make Paradise its reward.

04Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ أَغْنِنِي بِالْعِلْمِ وَزَيِّنِّي بِالْحِلْمِ وَأَكْرِمْنِي بِالتَّقْوَى وَجَمِّلْنِي بِالْعَافِيَةِ.

Allāhumma aghninī bi l-ʿilm, wa zayyinnī bi l-ḥilm, wa akrimnī bi t-taqwā, wa jammilnī bi l-ʿāfiyah.

O Allah, enrich me with knowledge, adorn me with forbearance, honour me with piety and make me comely with wellbeing.

05Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ خَلِيلٍ مَاكِرٍ عَيْنَاهُ تَرَيَانِي وَقَلْبُهُ يَرْعَانِي إِنْ رَأَى حَسَنَةً دَفَنَهَا وَإِنْ رَأَى سَيِّئَةً أَذَاعَهَا.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min khalīlin mākir, ʿaynāhu tarayānī wa qalbuhū yarʿānī, in raʾā ḥasanatan dafanahā, wa in raʾā sayyiʾatan adhāʿahā.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a scheming friend whose eyes watch me and whose heart keeps track of me: if he sees a good deed he buries it, and if he sees a bad one he broadcasts it.

06Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبُؤْسِ وَالتَّبَاؤُسِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina l-buʾsi wa t-tabāʾus.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from destitution and from affecting destitution.

07Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ لَا يُدْرِكْنِي زَمَانٌ وَلَا يُدْرِكُوا زَمَانًا لَا يُتَّبَعُ فِيهِ الْعَلِيمُ وَلَا يُسْتَحْيَى فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَلِيمِ قُلُوبُهُمْ قُلُوبُ الْأَعَاجِمِ وَأَلْسِنَتُهُمْ أَلْسِنَةُ الْعَرَبِ.

Allāhumma lā yudriknī zamān, wa lā yudrikū zamānan lā yuttabaʿu fīhi l-ʿalīm, wa lā yustaḥyā fīhi mina l-ḥalīm, qulūbuhum qulūbu l-aʿājim, wa alsinatuhum alsinatu l-ʿarab.

O Allah, let no age overtake me, and let them not be overtaken by an age in which the learned is not followed and the forbearing is not shown deference; their hearts the hearts of foreigners and their tongues the tongues of Arabs.

08Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الْعَدُوِّ وَمِنْ بَوَارِ الْأَيِّمِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ghalabati d-dayn, wa ghalabati l-ʿaduww, wa min bawāri l-ayyim, wa min fitnati l-Masīḥi d-Dajjāl.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt, from being overcome by an enemy, from the unmarried woman left without a match, and from the trial of the false Messiah.

09Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ النِّسَاءِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min fitnati n-nisāʾ, wa aʿūdhu bika min ʿadhābi l-qabr.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trial of women, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave.

10Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ آذَيْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَزَكَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ.

Allāhumma innī ttakhadhtu ʿindaka ʿahdan lan tukhlifanīh, fa innamā anā bashar, fa ayyumā muʾminin ādhaytuhū aw shatamtuhū aw jaladtuhū aw laʿantuh, fa jʿalhā lahū ṣalātan wa zakātan wa qurbatan tuqarribuhū bihā ilayk.

O Allah, I have taken a covenant with You that You will not break with me. I am only a human being, so whichever believer I have hurt, or reviled, or struck, or cursed, make that for him a blessing, a purification and a nearness by which You bring him close to You.

11Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَ نَفْسِي وَأَنْتَ تَوَفَّاهَا لَكَ مَمَاتُهَا وَمَحْيَاهَا إِنْ أَحْيَيْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ وَإِنْ أَمَتَّهَا فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا وَارْحَمْهَا. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ.

Allāhumma anta khalaqta nafsī wa anta tawaffāhā, laka mamātuhā wa maḥyāhā. In aḥyaytahā fa ḥfaẓhā bimā taḥfaẓu bihī ʿibādaka ṣ-ṣāliḥīn, wa in amattahā fa ghfir lahā wa rḥamhā. Allāhumma innī asʾaluka l-ʿāfiyah.

O Allah, You created my soul and You take it back; to You belong its death and its life. If You keep it alive, guard it with what You guard Your righteous servants with; and if You cause it to die, forgive it and have mercy on it. O Allah, I ask You for wellbeing.

12Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ حَصِّنْ فَرْجِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي.

Allāhumma ḥaṣṣin farjī wa yassir lī amrī.

O Allah, guard my chastity and make my affair easy for me.

13Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ تَمَامَ الْوُضُوءِ وَتَمَامَ الصَّلَاةِ وَتَمَامَ رِضْوَانِكَ وَتَمَامَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka tamāma l-wuḍūʾ, wa tamāma ṣ-ṣalāh, wa tamāma riḍwānik, wa tamāma maghfiratik.

O Allah, I ask You for complete ablution, complete prayer, Your complete pleasure and Your complete forgiveness.

14Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِنِي كِتَابِي بِيَمِينِي.

Allāhumma aʿṭinī kitābī bi-yamīnī.

O Allah, give me my record in my right hand.

15Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّضْ وَجْهِي يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ الْوُجُوهُ.

Allāhumma bayyiḍ wajhī yawma tabyaḍḍu l-wujūh.

O Allah, make my face bright on the Day when faces are made bright.

16Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ غَشِّنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَجَنِّبْنِي عَذَابَكَ.

Allāhumma ghashshinī bi-raḥmatik, wa jannibnī ʿadhābak.

O Allah, cover me with Your mercy and keep me far from Your punishment.

17Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْ قَدَمَيَّ يَوْمَ تَزِلُّ فِيهِ الْأَقْدَامُ.

Allāhumma thabbit qadamayya yawma tazillu fīhi l-aqdām.

O Allah, make my feet firm on the Day when feet slip.

18Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مُفْلِحِينَ.

Allāhumma jʿalnā mufliḥīn.

O Allah, make us among the successful.

19Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ أَقْفَالَ قُلُوبِنَا بِذِكْرِكَ وَأَتْمِمْ عَلَيْنَا نِعْمَتَكَ وَأَسْبِغْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ.

Allāhumma ftaḥ aqfāla qulūbinā bi-dhikrik, wa atmim ʿalaynā niʿmatak, wa asbigh ʿalaynā min faḍlik, wa jʿalnā min ʿibādika ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

O Allah, open the locks of our hearts with Your remembrance, complete Your favour upon us, pour out upon us of Your bounty, and make us among Your righteous servants.

20Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ إِبْلِيسَ وَجُنُودِهِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min Iblīsa wa junūdih.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Iblīs and his hosts.

21Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ آتِنِي أَفْضَلَ مَا تُؤْتِي عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ.

Allāhumma ātinī afḍala mā tuʾtī ʿibādaka ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

O Allah, give me the best of what You give Your righteous servants.

22Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ تَصُدَّ عَنِّي وَجْهَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ. اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَمِتْنِي مُسْلِمًا.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika an taṣudda ʿannī wajhaka yawma l-qiyāmah. Allāhumma aḥyinī musliman wa amitnī musliman.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Your turning Your face away from me on the Day of Resurrection. O Allah, let me live as a Muslim and let me die as a Muslim.

23Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ عَذِّبِ الْكَفَرَةَ وَأَلْقِ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ وَخَالِفْ بَيْنَ كَلِمَتِهِمْ وَأَنْزِلْ عَلَيْهِمْ رِجْزَكَ وَعَذَابَكَ.

Allāhumma ʿadhdhibi l-kafarah, wa alqi fī qulūbihimu r-ruʿb, wa khālif bayna kalimatihim, wa anzil ʿalayhim rijzaka wa ʿadhābak.

O Allah, punish the disbelievers, cast terror into their hearts, divide their word, and send down upon them Your wrath and Your punishment.

24Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ عَذِّبِ الْكَفَرَةَ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ الَّذِينَ يَجْحَدُونَ آيَاتِكَ وَيُكَذِّبُونَ رُسُلَكَ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ وَيَتَعَدَّوْنَ حُدُودَكَ وَيَدْعُونَ مَعَكَ إِلَهًا آخَرَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ عَمَّا يَقُولُ الظَّالِمُونَ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا.

Allāhumma ʿadhdhibi l-kafarata ahla l-kitābi wa l-mushrikīn, alladhīna yajḥadūna āyātik, wa yukadhdhibūna rusulak, wa yaṣuddūna ʿan sabīlik, wa yataʿaddawna ḥudūdak, wa yadʿūna maʿaka ilāhan ākhar. Lā ilāha illā ant, tabārakta wa taʿālayta ʿammā yaqūlu ẓ-ẓālimūna ʿuluwwan kabīrā.

O Allah, punish the disbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters, who deny Your signs, reject Your messengers, turn people from Your path, overstep Your limits and call upon another god beside You. There is no god but You. Blessed are You and far exalted above what the wrongdoers say, high above it.

25Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَأَصْلِحْهُمْ وَأَصْلِحْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ وَأَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْإِيمَانَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَثَبِّتْهُمْ عَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِكَ وَأَوْزِعْهُمْ أَنْ يَشْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنْ يُوفُوا بِعَهْدِكَ الَّذِي عَاهَدْتَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَانْصُرْهُمْ عَلَى عَدُوِّكَ وَعَدُوِّهِمْ إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ.

Allāhumma ghfir lanā wa li l-muʾminīna wa l-muʾmināti wa l-muslimīna wa l-muslimāt, wa aṣliḥhum wa aṣliḥ dhāta baynihim, wa allif bayna qulūbihim, wa jʿal fī qulūbihimu l-īmāna wa l-ḥikmah, wa thabbithum ʿalā millati rasūlik, wa awziʿhum an yashkurū niʿmataka llatī anʿamta ʿalayhim, wa an yūfū bi-ʿahdika lladhī ʿāhadtahum ʿalayh, wa nṣurhum ʿalā ʿaduwwika wa ʿaduwwihim, Ilāha l-ḥaqq.

O Allah, forgive us and the believing men and women and the Muslim men and women. Set them right and set right what is between them, join their hearts together, place faith and wisdom in their hearts, make them firm upon the way of Your Messenger, move them to be thankful for the favour You have bestowed upon them and to fulfil the covenant You took from them, and give them victory over Your enemy and theirs, O God of truth.

26Supplication

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَأَصْلِحْ لِي عَمَلِي إِنَّكَ تَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ لِمَنْ تَشَاءُ وَأَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ. يَا غَفَّارُ اغْفِرْ لِي. يَا تَوَّابُ تُبْ عَلَيَّ. يَا رَحْمَنُ ارْحَمْنِي. يَا عَفُوُّ اعْفُ عَنِّي. يَا رَءُوفُ ارْؤُفْ بِي. يَا رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَطَوِّقْنِي حُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ. يَا رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ. يَا رَبِّ افْتَحْ لِي بِخَيْرٍ وَاخْتِمْ لِي بِخَيْرٍ وَآتِنِي تَشَوُّقًا إِلَى لِقَائِكَ مِنْ غَيْرِ ضَرَّاءَ مُضِرَّةٍ وَلَا فِتْنَةٍ مُضِلَّةٍ وَقِنِي السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْ تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ.

Subḥānaka lā ilāha ghayruk, ighfir lī dhanbī wa aṣliḥ lī ʿamalī, innaka taghfiru dh-dhunūba liman tashāʾ, wa anta l-Ghafūru r-Raḥīm. Yā Ghaffāru ghfir lī. Yā Tawwābu tub ʿalayy. Yā Raḥmānu rḥamnī. Yā ʿAfuwwu ʿfu ʿannī. Yā Raʾūfu rʾuf bī. Yā Rabbi awziʿnī an ashkura niʿmataka llatī anʿamta ʿalayy, wa ṭawwiqnī ḥusna ʿibādatik. Yā Rabbi asʾaluka mina l-khayri kullih. Yā Rabbi ftaḥ lī bi-khayr, wa khtim lī bi-khayr, wa ātinī tashawwuqan ilā liqāʾika min ghayri ḍarrāʾa muḍirrah, wa lā fitnatin muḍillah, wa qini s-sayyiʾāt, wa man taqi s-sayyiʾāti yawmaʾidhin fa qad raḥimtah, wa dhālika huwa l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīm.

Glory be to You; there is no god but You. Forgive me my sin and set right my deeds. Indeed, You forgive sins for whom You will, and You are the Forgiving, the Merciful. O Ever-Forgiving, forgive me. O Accepter of repentance, accept my repentance. O Most Merciful, have mercy on me. O Pardoner, pardon me. O Most Kind, be kind to me. My Lord, move me to be thankful for the favour You have bestowed upon me, and encircle me with worshipping You well. My Lord, I ask You for all that is good. My Lord, open for me with good and seal for me with good, and grant me a longing to meet You, without harm that injures or a trial that leads astray. Protect me from evil deeds; and whoever You protect from evil deeds on that Day, You have shown him mercy, and that is the great triumph.

27Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كُلُّهُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ كُلُّهُ وَلَكَ الْمُلْكُ كُلُّهُ وَلَكَ الْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ وَإِلَيْكَ يَرْجِعُ الْأَمْرُ كُلُّهُ.

Allāhumma laka l-ḥamdu kulluh, wa laka sh-shukru kulluh, wa laka l-mulku kulluh, wa laka l-khalqu kulluh, bi-yadika l-khayru kulluh, wa ilayka yarjiʿu l-amru kulluh.

O Allah, to You belongs all praise, to You belongs all thanks, to You belongs all dominion, to You belongs all creation. In Your hand is all good, and to You all matters return.

28Supplication

أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ.

Asʾaluka mina l-khayri kullih, wa aʿūdhu bika mina sh-sharri kullih.

I ask You for all that is good, and I seek refuge in You from all that is evil.

29Supplication

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ. اللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ عَنِّي الْهَمَّ وَالْحُزْنَ.

Bismi Llāhi lladhī lā ilāha ghayruh. Allāhumma adhhib ʿanni l-hamma wa l-ḥuzn.

In the name of Allah, besides whom there is no god. O Allah, take away from me worry and grief.

30Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ بِحَمْدِكَ انْصَرَفْتُ وَبِذَنْبِي اعْتَرَفْتُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اقْتَرَفْتُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْآخِرَةِ.

Allāhumma bi-ḥamdika nṣaraft, wa bi-dhanbī ʿtaraft, wa aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā qtaraft, wa aʿūdhu bika min juhdi l-balāʾ, wa min ʿadhābi l-ākhirah.

O Allah, with Your praise I turn away, and my sin I confess. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have committed, I seek refuge in You from the strain of affliction, and from the punishment of the Hereafter.

31Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ عَمَلٍ يُخْزِينِي وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ صَاحِبٍ يُؤْذِينِي وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمَلٍ يُلْهِينِي وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ فَقْرٍ يُنْسِينِي وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ غِنًى يُطْغِينِي.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min kulli ʿamalin yukhzīnī, wa aʿūdhu bika min kulli ṣāḥibin yuʾdhīnī, wa aʿūdhu bika min kulli amalin yulhīnī, wa aʿūdhu bika min kulli faqrin yunsīnī, wa aʿūdhu bika min kulli ghinan yuṭghīnī.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from every deed that disgraces me, from every companion who harms me, from every hope that distracts me, from every poverty that makes me forget, and from every wealth that makes me overstep.

32Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِلَهِي وَإِلَهَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَإِلَهَ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَسْتَجِيبَ دَعْوَتِي فَأَنَا مُضْطَرٌّ وَتَعْصِمَنِي فِي دِينِي فَإِنِّي مُبْتَلًى وَتَنَالَنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فَإِنِّي مُذْنِبٌ وَتَنْفِيَ عَنِّي الْفَقْرَ فَإِنِّي مُتَمَسْكِنٌ.

Allāhumma Ilāhī wa Ilāha Ibrāhīma wa Isḥāqa wa Yaʿqūb, wa Ilāha Jibrīla wa Mīkāʾīla wa Isrāfīl, asʾaluka an tastajība daʿwatī fa anā muḍṭarr, wa taʿṣimanī fī dīnī fa innī mubtalā, wa tanālanī bi-raḥmatika fa innī mudhnib, wa tanfiya ʿanni l-faqra fa innī mutamaskin.

O Allah, my God and the God of Ibrāhīm, Isḥāq and Yaʿqūb, God of Jibrīl, Mīkāʾīl and Isrāfīl: I ask You to answer my call, for I am in distress; to guard me in my religion, for I am tried; to reach me with Your mercy, for I am a sinner; and to remove poverty from me, for I am destitute.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ السَّائِلِينَ عَلَيْكَ فَإِنَّ لِلسَّائِلِ عَلَيْكَ حَقًّا أَيَّمَا عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ تَقَبَّلْتَ دَعْوَتَهُمْ وَاسْتَجَبْتَ دُعَاءَهُمْ أَنْ تُشْرِكَنَا فِي صَالِحِ مَا يَدْعُونَكَ فِيهِ وَأَنْ تُشْرِكَهُمْ فِي صَالِحِ مَا نَدْعُوكَ فِيهِ وَأَنْ تُعَافِيَنَا وَإِيَّاهُمْ وَأَنْ تَقَبَّلَ مِنَّا وَمِنْهُمْ وَأَنْ تَتَجَاوَزَ عَنَّا وَعَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka bi-ḥaqqi s-sāʾilīna ʿalayk, fa inna li s-sāʾili ʿalayka ḥaqqā. Ayyamā ʿabdin aw amatin min ahli l-barri wa l-baḥri taqabbalta daʿwatahum wa stajabta duʿāʾahum, an tushrikanā fī ṣāliḥi mā yadʿūnaka fīh, wa an tushrikahum fī ṣāliḥi mā nadʿūka fīh, wa an tuʿāfiyanā wa iyyāhum, wa an taqabbala minnā wa minhum, wa an tatajāwaza ʿannā wa ʿanhum, fa innanā āmannā bimā anzalta wa ttabaʿna r-rasūl, fa ktubnā maʿa sh-shāhidīn.

O Allah, I ask You by the right of those who ask of You, for the one who asks has a right over You. Whichever servant or maidservant among the people of land or sea whose call You have accepted and whose supplication You have answered, join us in the good they have asked You for, and join them in the good we ask You for; grant wellbeing to us and to them, accept from us and from them, and overlook our faults and theirs. For we have believed in what You revealed and followed the Messenger, so write us among those who bear witness.

34Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَاجْعَلْ فِي الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ مَحَبَّتَهُ وَفِي الْأَعْلَيْنَ دَرَجَتَهُ وَفِي الْمُقَرَّبِينَ ذِكْرَهُ.

Allāhumma aʿṭi Muḥammadani l-wasīlah, wa jʿal fi l-muṣṭafayna maḥabbatah, wa fi l-aʿlayna darajatah, wa fi l-muqarrabīna dhikrah.

O Allah, grant Muḥammad the station of nearness, set his love among the chosen, his rank among the highest, and his remembrance among those brought near.

35Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَأَفِضْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَأَسْبِغْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنْزِلْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ بَرَكَاتِكَ.

Allāhumma hdinī min ʿindik, wa afiḍ ʿalayya min faḍlik, wa asbigh ʿalayya min raḥmatik, wa anzil ʿalayya min barakātik.

O Allah, guide me from Yourself, pour upon me of Your bounty, spread over me of Your mercy, and send down upon me of Your blessings.

36Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ.

Allāhumma ghfir lī wa rḥamnī wa tub ʿalayy, innaka anta t-Tawwābu r-Raḥīm.

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me and accept my repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ تَوْفِيقَ أَهْلِ الْهُدَى وَأَعْمَالَ أَهْلِ الْيَقِينِ وَمُنَاصَحَةَ أَهْلِ التَّوْبَةِ وَعَزْمَ أَهْلِ الصَّبْرِ وَجِدَّ أَهْلِ الْخَشْيَةِ وَطَلَبَ أَهْلِ الرَّغْبَةِ وَتَعَبُّدَ أَهْلِ الْوَرَعِ وَعِرْفَانَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ حَتَّى أَلْقَاكَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مَخَافَةً تَحْجُزُنِي عَنْ مَعَاصِيكَ حَتَّى أَعْمَلَ بِطَاعَتِكَ عَمَلًا أَسْتَحِقُّ بِهِ رِضَاكَ وَحَتَّى أُنَاصِحَكَ بِالتَّوْبَةِ خَوْفًا مِنْكَ وَحَتَّى أُخْلِصَ لَكَ النَّصِيحَةَ حَيَاءً مِنْكَ وَحَتَّى أَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَيْكَ فِي الْأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا وَحُسْنَ ظَنٍّ بِكَ سُبْحَانَ خَالِقِ النُّورِ.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka tawfīqa ahli l-hudā, wa aʿmāla ahli l-yaqīn, wa munāṣaḥata ahli t-tawbah, wa ʿazma ahli ṣ-ṣabr, wa jidda ahli l-khashyah, wa ṭalaba ahli r-raghbah, wa taʿabbuda ahli l-waraʿ, wa ʿirfāna ahli l-ʿilm, ḥattā alqāk. Allāhumma innī asʾaluka makhāfatan taḥjuzunī ʿan maʿāṣīk, ḥattā aʿmala bi-ṭāʿatika ʿamalan astaḥiqqu bihī riḍāk, wa ḥattā unāṣiḥaka bi t-tawbati khawfan mink, wa ḥattā ukhliṣa laka n-naṣīḥata ḥayāʾan mink, wa ḥattā atawakkala ʿalayka fi l-umūri kullihā, wa ḥusna ẓannin bik. Subḥāna Khāliqi n-nūr.

O Allah, I ask You for the enabling grace of the people of guidance, the deeds of the people of certainty, the sincere counsel of the people of repentance, the resolve of the people of patience, the earnestness of the people of awe, the seeking of the people of longing, the devotion of the people of scrupulousness and the recognition of the people of knowledge, until I meet You. O Allah, I ask You for a fear that holds me back from disobeying You, so that I may work in obedience to You a work by which I deserve Your pleasure; so that I may turn to You sincerely in repentance out of fear of You; so that I may be sincere towards You out of shame before You; and so that I may rely upon You in all affairs and think well of You. Glory be to the Creator of light.

38Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُهْلِكْنَا فُجَاءَةً وَلَا تَأْخُذْنَا بَغْتَةً وَلَا تُغْفِلْنَا عَنْ حَقٍّ وَلَا وَصِيَّةٍ.

Allāhumma lā tuhliknā fujāʾah, wa lā taʾkhudhnā baghtah, wa lā tughfilnā ʿan ḥaqqin wa lā waṣiyyah.

O Allah, do not destroy us suddenly, do not seize us unawares, and do not make us heedless of any right or any last charge.

اللَّهُمَّ آنِسْ وَحْشَتِي فِي قَبْرِي.

O Allah, comfort my loneliness in my grave.

40Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي بِالْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيمِ وَاجْعَلْهُ لِي إِمَامًا وَنُورًا وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً. اللَّهُمَّ ذَكِّرْنِي مِنْهُ مَا نَسِيتُ وَعَلِّمْنِي مِنْهُ مَا جَهِلْتُ وَارْزُقْنِي تِلَاوَتَهُ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ وَاجْعَلْهُ لِي حُجَّةً يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

Allāhumma rḥamnī bi l-Qurʾāni l-ʿaẓīm, wa jʿalhu lī imāman wa nūran wa hudan wa raḥmah. Allāhumma dhakkirnī minhu mā nasīt, wa ʿallimnī minhu mā jahilt, wa rzuqnī tilāwatahū ānāʾa l-layli wa ānāʾa n-nahār, wa jʿalhu lī ḥujjah, yā Rabba l-ʿālamīn.

O Allah, have mercy on me through the Mighty Qurʾān, and make it for me a leader, a light, a guidance and a mercy. O Allah, remind me of what I have forgotten of it, teach me what I am ignorant of in it, grant me its recitation through the hours of the night and the hours of the day, and make it a proof for me, O Lord of the worlds.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ أَتَقَلَّبُ فِي قَبْضَتِكَ وَأُصَدِّقُ بِلِقَائِكَ وَأُومِنُ بِوَعْدِكَ أَمَرْتَنِي فَعَصَيْتُ وَنَهَيْتَنِي فَأَبَيْتُ هَذَا مَكَانُ الْعَائِذِ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ. لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

Allāhumma anā ʿabduka wa bnu ʿabdika wa bnu amatik, nāṣiyatī bi-yadik, ataqallabu fī qabḍatik, wa uṣaddiqu bi-liqāʾik, wa uʾminu bi-waʿdik. Amartanī fa ʿaṣayt, wa nahaytanī fa abayt. Hādhā makānu l-ʿāʾidhi bika mina n-nār. Lā ilāha illā ant, subḥānak, ẓalamtu nafsī fa ghfir lī, innahū lā yaghfiru dh-dhunūba illā ant.

O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant, the son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand, I turn about in Your grasp, I affirm the meeting with You and I believe in Your promise. You commanded me and I disobeyed; You forbade me and I refused. This is the standing of one seeking refuge with You from the Fire. There is no god but You. Glory be to You. I have wronged myself, so forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.

42Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَإِلَيْكَ الْمُشْتَكَى وَبِكَ الْمُسْتَغَاثُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ.

Allāhumma laka l-ḥamd, wa ilayka l-mushtakā, wa bika l-mustaghāth, wa anta l-Mustaʿān, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi Llāh.

O Allah, to You belongs praise, to You is the complaint made, by You is help sought, and You are the One whose aid is called upon; and there is no power and no strength except by Allah.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيِّكَ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلِكَ وَمُوسَى نَجِيِّكَ وَعِيسَى رُوحِكَ وَكَلِمَتِكَ وَبِكَلَامِ مُوسَى وَإِنْجِيلِ عِيسَى وَزَبُورِ دَاوُدَ وَفُرْقَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِكُلِّ وَحْيٍ أَوْحَيْتَهُ أَوْ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ أَوْ سَائِلٍ أَعْطَيْتَهُ أَوْ فَقِيرٍ أَغْنَيْتَهُ أَوْ غَنِيٍّ أَفْقَرْتَهُ أَوْ ضَالٍّ هَدَيْتَهُ. وَأَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَهُ عَلَى مُوسَى وَأَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي وَضَعْتَهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَاسْتَقَرَّتْ وَعَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ فَاسْتَقَلَّتْ وَعَلَى الْجِبَالِ فَرَسَتْ. وَأَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي اسْتَقَرَّ بِهِ عَرْشُكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الطَّاهِرِ الْمُطَهَّرِ الْمُنَزَّلِ فِي كِتَابِكَ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ وَبِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي وَضَعْتَهُ عَلَى النَّهَارِ فَاسْتَنَارَ وَعَلَى اللَّيْلِ فَأَظْلَمَ وَبِعَظَمَتِكَ وَكِبْرِيَائِكَ وَبِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِيَ الْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ وَتُخْلِطَهُ بِلَحْمِي وَدَمِي وَسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي وَتَسْتَعْمِلَ بِهِ جَسَدِي بِحَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka bi-Muḥammadin ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama nabiyyik, wa Ibrāhīma khalīlik, wa Mūsā najiyyik, wa ʿĪsā rūḥika wa kalimatik, wa bi-kalāmi Mūsā, wa injīli ʿĪsā, wa zabūri Dāwūd, wa furqāni Muḥammadin ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, wa bi-kulli waḥyin awḥaytah, aw qaḍāʾin qaḍaytah, aw sāʾilin aʿṭaytah, aw faqīrin aghnaytah, aw ghaniyyin afqartah, aw ḍāllin hadaytah. Wa asʾaluka bi-smika lladhī anzaltahū ʿalā Mūsā, wa asʾaluka bi-smika lladhī waḍaʿtahū ʿala l-arḍi fa staqarrat, wa ʿala s-samāwāti fa staqallat, wa ʿala l-jibāli fa rasat. Wa asʾaluka bi-smika lladhi staqarra bihī ʿarshuk, wa asʾaluka bi-smika ṭ-ṭāhiri l-muṭahhari l-munazzali fī kitābika min ladunk, wa bi-smika lladhī waḍaʿtahū ʿala n-nahāri fa stanār, wa ʿala l-layli fa aẓlam, wa bi-ʿaẓamatika wa kibriyāʾik, wa bi-nūri wajhik, an tarzuqaniya l-Qurʾāna l-ʿaẓīm, wa tukhliṭahū bi-laḥmī wa damī wa samʿī wa baṣarī, wa tastaʿmila bihī jasadī bi-ḥawlika wa quwwatik, fa innahū lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bik.

O Allah, I ask You by Muḥammad ﷺ Your Prophet, by Ibrāhīm Your intimate friend, by Mūsā to whom You spoke in confidence, by ʿĪsā Your spirit and Your word; by the speech given to Mūsā, the Gospel of ʿĪsā, the Psalms of Dāwūd and the Criterion of Muḥammad ﷺ; by every revelation You have sent down, every decree You have passed, every asker You have granted, every poor one You have enriched, every rich one You have made poor and every stray one You have guided. I ask You by Your name which You sent down upon Mūsā; I ask You by Your name which You set upon the earth and it settled, upon the heavens and they were raised, upon the mountains and they were anchored. I ask You by Your name by which Your Throne was set firm; I ask You by Your pure and purified name sent down in Your Book from Yourself; and by Your name which You set upon the day and it grew bright, and upon the night and it grew dark; and by Your greatness and Your majesty and by the light of Your face: that You grant me the Mighty Qurʾān, mingle it with my flesh and my blood, my hearing and my sight, and put my body to work by it, through Your might and Your power. For there is no power and no strength except by You.

44Supplication

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ذِي الشَّأْنِ عَظِيمِ الْبُرْهَانِ شَدِيدِ السُّلْطَانِ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ. أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ.

Bismi Llāhi Dhi sh-shaʾn, ʿAẓīmi l-burhān, Shadīdi s-sulṭān, mā shāʾa Llāhu kān. Aʿūdhu bi Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm.

In the name of Allah, Possessor of high standing, Mighty in proof, Severe in authority. What Allah wills comes to pass. I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shayṭān.

45Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي الْمَوْتِ وَفِيمَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ.

Allāhumma bārik lī fi l-mawti wa fīmā baʿda l-mawt.

O Allah, bless me in death and in what comes after death.

46Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُؤْمِنَّا مَكْرَكَ وَلَا تُنْسِنَا ذِكْرَكَ وَلَا تَهْتِكْ عَنَّا سِتْرَكَ وَلَا تَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ.

Allāhumma lā tuʾminnā makrak, wa lā tunsinā dhikrak, wa lā tahtik ʿannā sitrak, wa lā tajʿalnā mina l-ghāfilīn.

O Allah, do not make us feel safe from Your devising, do not make us forget Your remembrance, do not tear away Your covering from us, and do not make us among the heedless.

47Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ ضِيقِ الدُّنْيَا وَضِيقِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ḍīqi d-dunyā wa ḍīqi yawmi l-qiyāmah.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the straitness of this world and the straitness of the Day of Resurrection.

48Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ تَعْجِيلَ عَافِيَتِكَ وَدَفْعَ بَلَائِكَ وَخُرُوجًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ.

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka taʿjīla ʿāfiyatik, wa dafʿa balāʾik, wa khurūjan mina d-dunyā ilā raḥmatik.

O Allah, I ask You to hasten Your wellbeing to me, to turn away Your affliction from me, and for a departure from this world into Your mercy.

يَا مَنْ يَكْفِي عَنْ كُلِّ أَحَدٍ وَلَا يَكْفِي مِنْهُ أَحَدٌ يَا أَحَدُ مَنْ لَا أَحَدَ لَهُ يَا سَنَدَ مَنْ لَا سَنَدَ لَهُ انْقَطَعَ الرَّجَاءُ إِلَّا مِنْكَ نَجِّنِي مِمَّا أَنَا فِيهِ وَأَعِنِّي عَلَى مَا أَنَا عَلَيْهِ مِمَّا نَزَلَ بِي بِجَاهِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَبِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ آمِينَ.

Yā man yakfī ʿan kulli aḥad, wa lā yakfī minhu aḥad. Yā Aḥada man lā aḥada lah, yā Sanada man lā sanada lah. Inqaṭaʿa r-rajāʾu illā mink, najjinī mimmā anā fīh, wa aʿinnī ʿalā mā anā ʿalayhi mimmā nazala bī, bi-jāhi wajhika l-karīm, wa bi-ḥaqqi Muḥammadin ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama ʿalayk. Āmīn.

O You who suffices in place of everyone, and for whom no one can be a substitute. O One of the one who has no one, O Support of the one who has no support. Hope is cut off from all but You. Deliver me from what I am in, and help me with what has come upon me, by the honour of Your noble face and by the right of Muḥammad ﷺ with You. Āmīn.

اللَّهُمَّ احْرُسْنِي بِعَيْنِكَ الَّتِي لَا تَنَامُ وَاكْنُفْنِي بِرُكْنِكَ الَّذِي لَا يُرَامُ وَارْحَمْنِي بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَيَّ فَلَا أَهْلِكُ وَأَنْتَ رَجَائِي فَكَمْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَنْعَمْتَ بِهَا عَلَيَّ قَلَّ لَكَ بِهَا شُكْرِي وَكَمْ مِنْ بَلِيَّةٍ ابْتَلَيْتَنِي بِهَا قَلَّ لَكَ بِهَا صَبْرِي. فَيَا مَنْ قَلَّ عِنْدَ نِعْمَتِهِ شُكْرِي فَلَمْ يَحْرِمْنِي وَيَا مَنْ قَلَّ عِنْدَ بَلِيَّتِهِ صَبْرِي فَلَمْ يَخْذُلْنِي وَيَا مَنْ رَآنِي عَلَى الْخَطَايَا فَلَمْ يَفْضَحْنِي يَا ذَا الْمَعْرُوفِ الَّذِي لَا يَنْقَضِي أَبَدًا وَيَا ذَا النَّعْمَاءِ الَّتِي لَا تُحْصَى أَبَدًا أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِكَ أَدْرَأُ فِي نُحُورِ الْأَعْدَاءِ وَالْجَبَابِرَةِ. اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى دِينِي بِالدُّنْيَا وَعَلَى آخِرَتِي بِالتَّقْوَى وَاحْفَظْنِي فِيمَا غِبْتُ عَنْهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي فِيمَا حَضَرْتُهُ. يَا مَنْ لَا تَضُرُّهُ الذُّنُوبُ وَلَا تَنْقُصُهُ الْمَغْفِرَةُ هَبْ لِي مَا لَا يَنْقُصُكَ وَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا لَا يَضُرُّكَ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ. أَسْأَلُكَ فَرَجًا قَرِيبًا وَصَبْرًا جَمِيلًا وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا وَالْعَافِيَةَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْبَلَاءِ وَأَسْأَلُكَ تَمَامَ الْعَافِيَةِ وَأَسْأَلُكَ دَوَامَ الْعَافِيَةِ وَأَسْأَلُكَ الشُّكْرَ عَلَى الْعَافِيَةِ وَأَسْأَلُكَ الْغِنَى عَنِ النَّاسِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ.

Allāhumma ḥrusnī bi-ʿaynika llatī lā tanām, wa knufnī bi-ruknika lladhī lā yurām, wa rḥamnī bi-qudratika ʿalayya fa lā ahlik, wa anta rajāʾī. Fa kam min niʿmatin anʿamta bihā ʿalayya qalla laka bihā shukrī, wa kam min baliyyatin ibtalaytanī bihā qalla laka bihā ṣabrī. Fa yā man qalla ʿinda niʿmatihī shukrī fa lam yaḥrimnī, wa yā man qalla ʿinda baliyyatihī ṣabrī fa lam yakhdhulnī, wa yā man raʾānī ʿala l-khaṭāyā fa lam yafḍaḥnī, yā Dha l-maʿrūfi lladhī lā yanqaḍī abadā, wa yā Dha n-naʿmāʾi llatī lā tuḥṣā abadā: asʾaluka an tuṣalliya ʿalā Muḥammadin ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama wa ʿalā āli Muḥammadin ṣalla Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam. Wa bika adraʾu fī nuḥūri l-aʿdāʾi wa l-jabābirah. Allāhumma aʿinnī ʿalā dīnī bi d-dunyā, wa ʿalā ākhiratī bi t-taqwā, wa ḥfaẓnī fīmā ghibtu ʿanh, wa lā takilnī ilā nafsī fīmā ḥaḍartuh. Yā man lā taḍurruhu dh-dhunūb, wa lā tanquṣuhu l-maghfirah, hab lī mā lā yanquṣuk, wa ghfir lī mā lā yaḍurruk, innaka anta l-Wahhāb. Asʾaluka farajan qarībā, wa ṣabran jamīlā, wa rizqan wāsiʿā, wa l-ʿāfiyata min jamīʿi l-balāʾ, wa asʾaluka tamāma l-ʿāfiyah, wa asʾaluka dawāma l-ʿāfiyah, wa asʾaluka sh-shukra ʿala l-ʿāfiyah, wa asʾaluka l-ghinā ʿani n-nās, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi Llāhi l-ʿAliyyi l-ʿAẓīm.

O Allah, guard me with Your eye that does not sleep, shelter me in Your side that cannot be assailed, and have mercy on me by Your power over me, so that I am not destroyed; You are my hope. How many a favour You have bestowed on me for which my thanks to You were little, and how many a trial You have tested me with for which my patience before You was little. O You whose favour my thanks fell short of, yet He did not deprive me; O You whose trial my patience fell short of, yet He did not abandon me; O You who saw me in my sins, yet did not disgrace me. O Possessor of a kindness that never ends, O Possessor of favours that can never be counted: I ask You to send blessings upon Muḥammad ﷺ and upon the family of Muḥammad ﷺ. And by You I ward off the throats of enemies and tyrants. O Allah, help me in my religion by means of this world, and in my Hereafter by piety; guard me in what is absent from me, and do not leave me to myself in what is before me. O You whom sins do not harm and whom forgiving does not diminish: grant me what does not diminish You, and forgive me what does not harm You. Indeed, You are the Bestower. I ask You for relief that is near, for beautiful patience, for ample provision, and for wellbeing from every affliction. I ask You for complete wellbeing, I ask You for lasting wellbeing, I ask You for thankfulness for wellbeing, and I ask You for independence from people. And there is no power and no strength except by Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent.

51Supplication

يَا رَبِّ يَا رَبِّ يَا رَبِّ.

Yā Rabbi, yā Rabbi, yā Rabbi.
